Seroflocculating Steroids

X. The Screening Method

Frederic C. Chang 1 and Robert T. Blickenstaff 2

1 College of Pharmacy, University of Tennessee Medical Units, Memphis, Tenn.
2 Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.

A screening test used in the study of steroids having seroflocculating activity is described. Twenty compounds previously screened and assigned to activity classes were rescreened using the same set of sera. Results duplicated previous screening reasonably well, and indicated that the method is practical and reproducible.
