A procedure for the separation of glutamic oxalacetic transaminase by electrophoresis on cellulose polyacetate is described. Color development of the bands of activity was obtained with a diazonium salt (1) (6-benzamido-4-methoxy-m-toluidine diazonium chloride) with a specificity for oxalacetic acid.
