Reporting Terminal for Sequential Multiple Analysis and a Positive Identification System for Serum Specimens

James H. Kaufman 1

1 New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, Morrisania City Hospital, 168th St. at Gerard Ave., Bronx, N. Y. 10452.

The Sequential Multiple Analysis Reporting Terminal (SMART) and the Bio-Logics Specimen Identification System have been interfaced with the SMA 6/60 and the SMA 12/60. This installation, first of its kind, accurately converts and condenses SMA output into compact, easily read reports, with concomitantly increased efficiency in serum handling and accuracy in patient identification.
