Correction


The text of the letter entitled "High Measured Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) Concentration Attributable to an Analytical Problem in Testing Serum from a Patient with Pernicious Anemia" by L.T. Vlasveld, J.W. van’t Wout, P. Meeuwissen, and A. Castel (Clin Chem 2006;52:157–8) contains two errors. The reference interval for holoTC should read 55–170 pmol/L, not 55–170 L. In addition, the sentence reading "After magnetic separation of bound and unbound Cbl and a washing step, the chemiluminescence activator is linked to anti-HIF antibody bound to the immobilized Cbl-coated beads in the Immulite 2000 assay and to the acridinium ester-labeled Cbl in the ADVIA assay." should read "Separation of bound and unbound Cbl is achieved by a magnetic separator. After washing, the chemiluminescence activator is linked to anti-HIF antibody bound to the immobilized Cbl-coated beads in the Immulite 2000 assay and to the acridinium ester-labeled Cbl in the ADVIA assay."

The errors occurred in production.
